Director of Asia Pacific

Lee Chuen Ting is a Director of Asia Pacific responsible for Asian strategy and assisting Apex portfolio companies with business development in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Apex in 2003, she was a founding member of a global technology private equity fund at Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation of Singapore (OCBC) where she was responsible for origination, evaluation and execution of international investment deals. Before OCBC Bank, Chuen Ting worked for the Competitive Intelligence Unit of IBM’s Asia-Pacific Group Headquarters in Tokyo and later co-founded and ran her own Asia-based international business consulting firm. During her nine years as a business consultant, Chuen Ting advised top multinational corporations on their direct investments, strategic alliances and business strategies in the Asia-Pacific region. She has extensive international business experience having lived and worked in Japan, Indonesia, Egypt and the United States. She is also fluent in Mandarin, Fukien, Cantonese, Japanese and competent in French.

Chuen Ting earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics from the National University of Singapore and further pursued post-graduate studies in International Business at Sophia University in Tokyo on a Tokyu Foundation Scholarship.
